The purpose of Site Council is for stakeholder groups (teachers, families, administration and classified staff) to develop, implement, and provide oversight of Howard’s School Improvement Plan. In addition, input regarding school programming/initiatives, curriculum, and family involvement efforts is often solicited. This governing body meets four times a year, generally on the fourth Monday a month, from 2:45-3:30.
The Howard Site Council meets monthly. New minutes will be posted on this page as they become available.
Throughout the 2018-2019 school year, Howard staff and parents worked to develop a Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP). Approved in May of 20189, our Continuous Improvement Plan will guide our improvement efforts for the next three years. Site Council is responsible for monitoring our school’s progress toward implementing the action plan and reaching our goals. You are encouraged to review our CIP plan and we welcome your input. Please contact any Site Council member should you have questions, concerns, or praise.
