Site Council

The purpose of Site Council is for stakeholder groups (teachers, families, administration and classified staff) to develop, implement, and provide oversight of Howard’s School Improvement Plan. In addition, input regarding school programming/initiatives, curriculum, and family involvement efforts is often solicited. This governing body meets one Monday a month, from 2:30-3:30.

Comprehensive Achievement Plan

Throughout the 2016-2019 school year, Howard staff and parents worked to develop a newly revised Comprehensive Achievement Plan (CAP). Approved in June of 2016, our Comprehensive Achievement Plan will guide our improvement efforts for the next three years. Site Council is responsible for monitoring our school’s progress toward implementing the action plan and reaching our goals. You are encouraged to review our CAP plan and we welcome your input. Please contact any Site Council member should you have questions, concerns, or praise.
